CHILD VISIT MONITOR SERVICES

Off-Site Supervised Visitations **​​

Supervised Visitations refer to contact between a non-custodial parent and one or more children in the presence of a neutral third person responsible for observing and seeking to ensure the safety of those involved. The visitations take place in a safe and neutral public environment.

 

Hourly Rate, Two Hour Minimum

Supervised Monitored Exchanges

​

Supervised Exchanges are supervision of the transfer of the child(ren) from one parent to the other, with the remainder of the parent/child contact remaining unsupervised.  Precautions are taken to assure that the two parents exchanging the child(ren) do not come in contact.

Intake Interviews

​

Both custodial and non-custodial parents must contact The Child Visit Monitor to schedule an intake interview prior to the first visitation. You will provide some documentation prior to this interview. An interview is conducted with each parent separately. Based on the court orders this conversation will review procedures, fees, schedules, and more.

 

Flat Fee Per Parent 

Supervised Telephone Monitoring

In addition to off-site supervised visitations, The Child Visit Monitor also provides visitations via the telephone using three-way calling.

 

Using the telephone will allow the child(ren) to conveniently connect with their non-custodial parent.

Objective Reports

​

An Objective Report is prepared about each visit containing a description of family interactions as observed by the Monitor. (Copy available upon request).

 

In addition other reports are available as requested by attorneys, parents or court.

  • Report Types: Summary; Detailed; Incident; or Declaration Report

Rush Fee (if applicable)

Court Testimony (w/Subpoena)

​If The Child Visit Monitor receives a subpoena to appear and testify in court proceedings involving the families whose visit we observe, a half day or full day fee will apply for the parents to pay.

 

The Monitor will review the subpoena and the case file in preparation for the court appearance.

Supervised Visitation Fees

 

Fees are payable in cash, PAID IN ADVANCE. No services will be performed unless fees for services are paid in full prior to services being provided.  Please call for pricing.

 

  • Affordable hourly rates (most fees are hourly)

 

  • Fees for all supervised visitation services have a two-hour minimum.

 

  • Fees for services do not include travel fees and associated expenses.

 

  • Fees depend on the case details and number of children. If abuse accusations are alleged, the fees will be higher.

 

  • Holiday rates have an additional premium.

 

  • No charge for cancellations with at least 24-hours notice.

 

** Off-Site Supervised Visitation Locations 
 

The Child Visit Monitor provides off-site supervised visitations that adhere to the California Rules of Court, Standard 5.20.  Off-site Supervised Visitation can be conducted at numerous public locations that suit your situation best. Visits may take place in any location that is agreed upon by all parties subject to any restrictions of the court order. Suggested locations might include parks, playgrounds, the beach, zoos, sporting events, museums, library, restaurants, malls, etc. In the case of transportation between locations, the Monitor must always be with the child(ren).
